Positive Deviance in the Spotlight: Workshop, Book Signing Reception and More

Randa Wilkinson, Director of Training at the Positive Deviance Initiative, has been added to the program on the afternoon of November 5th to present an introduction to a PD approach to nutrition challenges.  Wilkinson is also leading the half-day workshop on Positive Deviance on the 4th.

Wilkinson’s lecture will be open to all persons, including non-registrants who may be in Boston to attend the American Dietetic Association’s annual conference and would like to learn more about Positive Deviance approaches to challenges in nutrition.

Following the lecture, the Friedman School will host a reception with a book-signing event for “The Power of Positive Deviance” authored by Richard Pascale, Monique Sternin, and the late Jerry Sternin, co-founders of the Positive Deviance Initiative. The event will also serve as an introduction to the Friedman School’s certificate programs in Positive Deviance, Nutrition Communications for Public Relations Professionals and Delivery Science in International Nutrition.

The reception will be from approximately 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the School, 150 Harrison Avenue, Boston.
