If you haven't attended a meeting or conference by computer lately, chances are you have not seen the latest in technology that makes attending web-enabled conference a rich learning environment.
Here at the Friedman School, we are pleased to offer an exceptional audio stream paired with crystal-clear images of speakers and slides so that our remote learners receive as rich an experience as our in-person attendees. You’ll hear clearly and see all the detail on the slides.
When presenters take questions, you'll be able to submit yours through our moderator, hear your question repeated and receive the live response.
In addition to the webcast presentation, we'll make the sessions available to you after the conference so you may review sessions, or watch for the first time any session that you might miss when presented live.
The Symposium will be streamed via Windows Media Video which is capable of being played in recent browsers. If you haven't recently updated your browser (Internet Explorer at least 5.0, Mozilla Firefox 1.0, Opera 8.0) please do so.
Media plug-in
You will need a media player plug-in. The webcast will be streamed in RealMedia (.ram). Most computers have a RealMedia player already installed. We suggest also using Real Alternative - Media Player Classic, a simple interface that tends to be less intrusive than RealMedia players.
Real Alternative 2.0 - Media Player Classic (select the first option)
